Junior Adamu Signs Long-Term Deal with Schalke 04

Schalke 04 have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Junior Adamu on a contract running until June 2029. The 25-year-old arrives from Bundesliga 2 side SC Freiburg after a successful loan spell at Celtic, where he helped the Scottish champions secure a domestic double. Youri Mulder, Schalke’s Director of Professional Football, highlighted Adamu’s hard work off the ball and his ability to make deep, quick runs that create passing options. “Junior can demonstrate his strengths in several attacking positions and adapt to different systems,” Mulder said.
