Members of the National Institute for Security Studies’ Executive Intelligence Management Course paid a courtesy visit to Governor Peter Mbah in Enugu. They praised the state’s heavy investment in security infrastructure. The delegation highlighted the ultramodern Command and Control Centre and AI-enabled cameras mounted across Enugu. They said this setup has helped nip crime in the bud and urged other states to adopt similar measures for better crime prevention. Governor Mbah emphasized that tackling insecurity is essential to growing Enugu’s economy from $4.4 billion to $30 billion. He called for stronger collaboration across federal, state and agency lines and challenged experts to examine resource competition and optimise Nigeria’s abundant assets.
