NASENI’s She-Powers Initiative Empowers 50 Kano Women with Renewable Energy Skills
The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure recently trained 50 women in Kano on inverter and battery technologies. The three-day She-Powers Energy Initiative at the Technology Incubation Centre gave participants hands-on renewable energy expertise and business mentoring. This programme aims to boost women-led enterprises and sustainable livelihoods in Nigeria’s clean energy sector. It also supports the Renewed Hope Agenda by fostering job creation, entrepreneurship and inclusive economic development.
