I laughed when I saw the APC circular. The party now insists that all senatorial primary outcomes be collated and announced only in Abuja. No more state-level declarations. This feels like payback. Some hopefuls are already stressed. They boasted of securing tickets before screening, but that famous “11:45-hour shock” is looking dangerously real. Politics is no small matter. The hunter can become the hunted in an instant. I just hope candidates don’t call for emergency overseas intervention when results land. They might need real support – maybe even a hot cup of tea.
