Governor Ododo Chairs APC Convention Environment & Sanitation Sub-Committee

The Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been appointed Chairman of the Environment and Sanitation Sub-Committee for the upcoming APC National Convention. He presided over the inaugural meeting through his representative at Casa de Lucy Hotel, Apo, Abuja. Key members present included Senator Uche Ekwunife (Secretary), Professor Ben Ayade (Co-Chairman), Senator Julius Ucha, Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu, and other dignitaries. Representing the Governor, Hon. Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun Stephen, Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, conveyed Ododo’s directives and led discussions. In his address, Governor Ododo stressed the need for dedication, teamwork, and high standards in waste management and sanitation. The sub-committee’s work is vital to ensure a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment for party delegates and stakeholders at the convention scheduled for March 2026.
