Dangote Hails Gbenga Daniel at 70 for Transforming Ogun into an Investment Hub

Aliko Dangote celebrated former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel on his 70th birthday. In a message to Daniel’s office in Maryland, Lagos, he praised the policies that turned Ogun into a business-friendly state. Dangote highlighted how the environment Daniel created boosted his company’s operations over the years. He called their partnership in value creation a testament to Daniel’s vision and leadership. Reflecting on more than 30 years of collaboration, Dangote described Daniel as a dependable ally and trusted adviser. He also acknowledged the warm relationship between their families, including Daniel’s wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel. Daniel governed Ogun State from 2003 to 2011 and now represents Ogun East in the Senate.
