Woman Accused of Killing Client in Alleged Payment Dispute in South Africa

A 23-year-old woman has appeared before the Thohoyandou Magistrates’ Court in South Africa after she was accused of killing a 34-year-old man following an alleged dispute over payment for sexual services. Police said officers responded to a report at Ha-Mphego Village in the Thohoyandou area on 6 August and found the man with multiple stab wounds. Emergency workers pronounced him dead at the scene. The accused was arrested at the scene and remanded in custody. The case was postponed to 13 August to allow for further investigation, forensic testing of the alleged weapon and a post-mortem examination. She has not yet entered a plea.
