London Suitcase Murder: Victim Identified as 34-Year-Old Man from Islington
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the body found inside a suitcase in woodland in Kent is that of 34-year-old Dale Mundell from Islington. Officers were first called to a Wimbledon property following a welfare concern. No one was found at the address, but a search led investigators to suspect foul play and a murder inquiry was launched. Mundell’s body was recovered on July 10 at Borstal Recreation Ground. Joshua Miller, 32, and Jamie Cooper, 27, both of Wimbledon, have been charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial. Police say the victim and the two men were known to one another, and the investigation remains ongoing.
