I was told by an unnamed FCT police officer that VDM was allegedly involved in sex work in Abuja when he was younger. I cannot independently verify this claim. The allegation has made me question his past controversies and activism. I do not believe he represents the same standard of activism associated with Fela, especially because of his perceived relationship with people in power. I have decided to distance myself from his movement. These are personal opinions based on unverified claims.
