Trump Declares US-Iran Ceasefire Finished After New Strikes

US President Donald Trump announced the ceasefire with Iran is over during a NATO summit in Ankara. This followed fresh US strikes on Iranian targets and a retaliatory attack by Iran’s Guards on American bases in the Gulf. Trump accused Iran of misrepresenting the June 17 agreement and dismissed further talks as “a waste of time” unless Tehran returns with clear terms. “They’re liars,” he said. The collapse of the truce has raised fears of a wider regional conflict. Oil prices jumped amid renewed concerns over Gulf instability and possible disruptions to energy supplies.
