He recalled hearing the words “Fear not; do not be dismayed” and said his tenure so far has been shaped by that divine strength. He urged Nigerians to pray that the 2027 elections will be the best in the nation’s history. Appointed by President Tinubu in October 2025, Amupitan is the sixth substantive chairman of INEC. He emphasized that faith will help the commission overcome any challenges ahead.
