Gift Subi opened the scoring with a header in the 33rd minute. Though Zuénoula equalized early in the second half, substitute Abdulmuiz Adeleke struck in the 78th minute to seal the win. The result boosts Abdu Maikaba’s squad confidence ahead of Monday’s Group B opener against Ghana’s Black Satellites in Yamoussoukro. The Flying Eagles aim to defend their WAFU B crown and qualify for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
