Kano Governor’s Spokesperson: Kwankwaso Sought APC Support for 2027, Obi Alliance ‘Temporary’
Kano State Governor’s aide Sanusi Bature has accused Rabiu Kwankwaso of approaching President Tinubu and the APC as his ‘Option A’ for the 2027 elections. He dismissed the reported alliance with Peter Obi as merely temporary. Bature claimed the APC launched propaganda after failing to bar Peter Obi from the ballot. He also questioned why a PhD holder would serve as vice president to someone with only a Bachelor’s degree, pointing out that Prof Osinbajo was VP to Buhari for eight years. The spokesperson laughed off the OK movement’s unity claims and insisted such tactics won’t derail their plans. He concluded by predicting that Nigeria will rise again under the Obi–Kwankwaso ticket in 2027.
