Creek to Creek Movement Exposes Tantita Impostors, Urges Tinubu to Sack Security Contractor Over Rising Oil Theft

Creek to Creek Movement has officially disowned a fake statement praising Tantita Security Services as the Niger Delta’s sole pipeline protection contractor. The group has reported the forgers to the police for impersonation, forgery and outright fraud. They condemn the Tantita contract as a national disgrace. Since its inception, over N2.5 trillion has been lost to oil theft, pipeline breaches jumped by 62% and more than 700 major spillages have devastated farms and fishing grounds in 450 communities. The Movement demands President Tinubu immediately terminate the Tantita deal and decentralize pipeline security to include the military, local communities and multiple competent firms. Failure to act, they warn, will deepen the crisis, scare away investors and threaten Nigeria’s oil economy.
