Lawyer Recounts Husband Beaten by Fitness Trainer Over Text Messages
In a Facebook post on May 3, a Nigerian lawyer recounted how a man was beaten up for confronting a fitness trainer he suspected of texting his wife. According to the lawyer, the husband didn’t realize his opponent was a trained fighter and was quickly overpowered. He warned that any man who resorts to violence over a woman acts “stupidly” and said the greater fault lies with the wife for inviting such disrespect.
