ABU, NAHCON Partner to Launch MBA in Hajj Operations Management
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to jointly develop and deliver an MBA in Hajj Operations Management. Under the agreement, ABU’s Distance Learning Centre will oversee academic standards, admissions, examinations and the award of the degree. NAHCON’s Hajj Institute of Nigeria will provide technical expertise, practitioners as resource persons, and opportunities for practical training and internships. The programme will also cover curriculum development, specialised Hajj and Umrah courses, executive education, research, industry engagement and international collaboration. The agreement was signed in Abuja on 31 July 2026.
