Makinde Visits Oriire Kidnap Survivors, Promises Full Support Until Recovery

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde visited the victims of the Oriire LGA kidnapping now receiving treatment at the Nigerian Army’s 2 Division Medical Centre in Ibadan. He was accompanied by Brigadier General Moses Azuoru to assess their condition. He assured the rescued victims that his administration will support them until full recovery and reunite them with their families. “We will continue to provide the necessary support needed for their full recovery and reunite them with their families,” he said. The governor paid tribute to civilians and military personnel who died during the rescue operation and vowed their sacrifices would not be in vain. The incident followed coordinated security operations that led to the victims’ release and medical care.
