Police Investigate Killing of Man Found Inside Running Car in Osogbo

The Osun State Police Command is investigating the killing of a 40-year-old man whose body was found inside a Toyota Camry in Osogbo. The incident was reported around 12:15 a.m. on July 25, 2026, along Alatori Road in the Olude area. Police said the vehicle's engine was still running when detectives arrived, and nine spent ammunition shells were recovered near the scene. The body was taken to the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital mortuary for an autopsy. Police suspect a possible cult-related attack and say efforts are underway to identify and arrest those responsible.
