Edo Police Nab 18-Year-Old Suspected Kidnapper in Ewu-Auchi Forest
The Edo State Police Command arrested 18-year-old Mohammed Zaradeen Saleh in a forest along the Ewu-Auchi road on Sunday, May 17. Police Mobile Force Base 82 in Uromi acted on a tip about suspicious movement in the area. Officers stormed the forest and gave chase. One suspect was caught while three others escaped. Preliminary investigations link Saleh to a kidnapping syndicate. He named two armed gang members, Musa Shedau and Abdulmumini. ASP Eno Ikoede says manhunt and weapons recovery efforts are ongoing.
