BOSYA President Kaigama Arraigned on Terrorism Charges in Abuja
The Federal Government has arraigned Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama, president of the Borno State Youths Association, on terrorism-related charges before a Federal High Court in Abuja. Kaigama was recently arrested by the Department of State Services after he said in a television interview that he held discussions with Boko Haram members over alleged ransom payments for kidnap victims. Security sources allege that investigators have evidence that he extorted families of victims. The court ordered that he remain in DSS custody and adjourned the case until September 25, 2026, when trial is expected to begin.
