Ighalo Defends Osimhen’s World-Class Status, Slams Chelsea’s Lowball Offer
Legendary Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo insists Victor Osimhen is a world-class forward. In a recent Brila interview, he pointed to Osimhen’s Serie A top-scorer title and strong Champions League showings as proof. Ighalo criticised the tendency among some Africans to undervalue their own stars. “If an English player did what Osimhen is doing, they would praise him to the skies,” he said. He also revealed that Chelsea offered Osimhen a much lower wage than he deserves.
