FG Pledges Rescue of All Kidnapped Students and Teachers
The Information Minister says the safe return of every abducted child and teacher is the Federal Government’s top priority. He spoke in Abuja at a briefing themed “United Against Terror.” He described school kidnappings as attacks on the nation’s future and vowed that specialised rescue teams will be deployed. President Tinubu also authorised the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards to protect vulnerable communities. The minister highlighted strong coordination between federal and state authorities in intelligence sharing and rescue operations. He urged media outlets to report responsibly and citizens to share credible information with security agencies. Officials added that the NSCDC’s Safe Schools Initiative remains active across the country, with efforts underway to include remote areas.
