Moses Simon and French Embassy Kick Off Kaduna Youth Football Tournament and Girls’ Camp — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has teamed up with the French Embassy to host a youth football tournament and a girls’ training camp in Kaduna. The third annual Under-17 competition runs from June 6 to July 5 and offers young players a stage to showcase their skills. Scouts will be on hand, and top performers could earn a path into Nigeria’s youth national teams. Alongside the boys’ event, a girls’ development camp welcomes participants of all ages. Thirty standout players will be selected for a special exhibition match at the closing ceremony. Organisers, supported by the Moses Simon Foundation and the French Embassy, will award cash prizes, kits, balls and equipment to winning teams, further boosting grassroots football opportunities in Nigeria.

Local mentors and former pros should attend sessions to guide participants, ensuring skills develop beyond just match experience.
