Family of Beheaded Teacher Urges Media to Stop Sharing Graphic Footage
Mr Michael Oyedokun’s family has appealed to the public and media to stop circulating the brutal videos and images of his beheading. They say the constant sharing of these graphic materials is deeply traumatizing. His children are currently writing exams and many elderly relatives and nieces, nephews, and cousins are finding it hard to cope. For the sake of everyone’s mental and emotional wellbeing, the family asks that any coverage either use only the photos officially released by them or blur any graphic content. They appreciate the prayers, love, and support during this painful time.
