Senior Lawyer Mike Ozekhome Accused of Forging Immigration Letter in London Property Dispute

Premium Times investigation reveals that Senior Advocate Mike Ozekhome allegedly forged a letter from the Nigeria Immigration Service to support a London property claim. The document, said to authenticate a passport for “Tali Shani,” was found to bear no record of the named officer or passport. A London tribunal initially accepted the letter in its 2025 ruling on 79 Randall Avenue, North London. Subsequent verifications exposed discrepancies in format and seal, and the passport was confirmed never issued. Ozekhome now faces multiple forgery and false document charges in Abuja brought by the ICPC and EFCC. Nigerian courts have frozen the disputed property pending further legal proceedings.
