‘We’re Behind Liam’: Chelsea Co-owner Defends Rosenior After Tough Run — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali has publicly reaffirmed the club’s support for head coach Liam Rosenior despite a difficult spell of results. Speaking at the CAA World Congress in Los Angeles, he outlined plans to adjust Chelsea’s youth-focused transfer approach and praised Rosenior’s potential. Eghbali noted Rosenior’s record of 11 wins, three draws and nine losses in 23 matches, but insisted the 41-year-old has the attributes to succeed over the long term. Chelsea are currently sixth in the Premier League, four points behind the Champions League places, and can still salvage the season when they meet Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final on April 26.
