Apply for 2027 Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship via Embassy Recommendation

The Embassy of Japan in Nigeria invites applications for the 2027 MEXT Scholarship. Available streams include Research, Undergraduate, College of Technology (KOSEN) and Specialised Training College. Eligible applicants must meet age requirements and submit all documents by Monday, 8 June 2026. Complete the application guide carefully. Hard-copy packages must include transcripts, certified photocopies of certificates, recommendation letters and a medical form. Late or incomplete submissions will not be processed. Submit your package in person or by post to the MEXT Selection Committee at No. 9 Bobo Street, Maitama, Abuja. Only successful candidates will be contacted for further screening.
