Tinubu-Linked Alpha-Beta Allegedly Sacks 8, Suspends 9 Over Whistle-Blowing Claims
Alpha-Beta Consulting LLP, a tax consultancy firm widely linked to President Bola Tinubu, allegedly dismissed eight employees and suspended nine others over suspected links to anonymous whistle-blowing emails. Sources said the affected workers were accused of being connected to emails sent in May 2025 that raised concerns about staff welfare, favouritism and alleged corruption. The dismissals and suspensions reportedly took place on January 30, 2026, with management said to have cited performance issues despite claims that no formal appraisals were conducted. Employees alleged that some of those affected had strong work records and were targeted after raising concerns about bonuses, staff regularisation and internal management practices. They also claimed the firm has fostered a climate of fear, while management has not publicly responded to the allegations in this report.
