Davido Heads to Coachella 2026 as Nigeria’s Afrobeats Ambassador
The 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has kicked off in Indio, California, drawing thousands of fans and spotlighting Afrobeats on the global stage. Davido will be the only Nigerian artist confirmed to perform alongside headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G. He joins a lineup that spans pop, electronic, rock, reggaeton and K-pop. Weekend one features opening sets from Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims, KATSEYE and veteran Moby. Italian DJ Anyma will close opening night with his new audiovisual project “ÆDEN.” Weekend two highlights include Justin Bieber, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Taemin, PinkPantheress, Karol G, BIGBANG, Iggy Pop, Fatboy Slim, Major Lazer, Foster the People and FKA twigs. Attendees will also enjoy a special outdoor screening of HBO’s Euphoria Season 3, with live streaming for global audiences.
