Two Brothers Arrested for Alleged Rape of 15-Year-Old Girl in Warri
Men of the Delta State Police Command arrested Emmanuel Eugene (18) and Kelvin Eugene (20) for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Warri South LGA. The victim’s mother left her at home to mind her younger sibling. When she returned from the market, her daughter was missing. A neighbour later spotted the teenager near the suspects’ residence, and she was found hiding in a church building in Effurun. Initially too afraid and ashamed to speak, the girl eventually told family members she had been sexually assaulted. The brothers admitted to having consensual sex but denied forcing her. Delta State Police spokesman confirmed the arrests. The victim’s mother is calling for a thorough investigation and justice for her daughter.
