CAF, PSG, Frankfurt and Ligue 1 Celebrate Jay-Jay Okocha at 53

CAF, Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain and Eintracht Frankfurt have celebrated Nigerian football great Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha on his 53rd birthday. The former Super Eagles captain is remembered for his flair, close control and spectacular goals. CAF described him as one of football’s smoothest players, while PSG, Frankfurt and Ligue 1 also paid tribute to the Nigerian icon. Okocha starred for Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbahçe, PSG and Bolton Wanderers during a distinguished club career. He also helped Nigeria win the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and Olympic gold at Atlanta 1996, cementing his status as one of Africa’s most celebrated footballers.
