Osun Election: Security Tightened Across Ile-Ife Ahead of Saturday’s Vote
Security agencies have intensified patrols across Ile-Ife ahead of Saturday’s Osun governorship election. Personnel from the Nigerian Army, Police and NSCDC were deployed to major roads and strategic areas, including Ipetumodu, Mayfair, Lagere and Garage-Ilesa. The deployment is aimed at protecting voters, electoral officials and sensitive materials. Normal activities continued across the city on Friday, with no major disruption reported.
