Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have arrested a 48-year-old man over his alleged connection to the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The farming community near the Kaduna–Plateau border was attacked in late July, leaving 30 residents dead. The suspect was reportedly arrested during an intelligence-led operation at his home in Dutsen Kura Village, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. He is in military custody as investigators work to establish the extent of his alleged involvement and identify other possible suspects. Security forces say operations are continuing against those linked to violent attacks in Plateau and neighbouring parts of Kaduna State.
