Akpabio Mocks PDP as ‘Dead Party’, Urges Wike to Let It Die

Akpabio Mocks PDP as ‘Dead Party’, Urges Wike to Let It Die

During the commissioning of a road project in Gaduwa District, FCT, Senate President Godswill Akpabio took aim at the Peoples Democratic Party. He expressed surprise that the PDP still exists and said it should be allowed to die. Reacting to the emergence of a PDP candidate in a recent election, Akpabio said, “I didn’t know there was still PDP… if a party has died allow it to die.” He added that he would no longer discuss the party’s working committee. He went on to praise Minister of the FCT Nyesom Wike for his performance, saying he and the president were “performing miracles” in Abuja and leaving people baffled by their achievements.
