Tom Holland Teases Passing Spider-Man Mantle to Next Actor

Tom Holland says he’s already thinking about life after Spider-Man. He feels fulfilled if he can help introduce the next actor in the suit. Since debuting as Peter Parker in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, he’s led three Spider-Man films. Ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Holland told a film magazine he’d love to play a role like Tony Stark played for him. He wants to mentor whoever takes on Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen or another version of the hero. This makes him the third actor to don the mask after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Both stars joined him in No Way Home. Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in cinemas on July 31, and Holland also appears in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey earlier in July.
