Trump Fires Salvo at Pope Leo XIV Over Crime and Foreign Policy

Trump Fires Salvo at Pope Leo XIV Over Crime and Foreign Policy

Former President Donald Trump launched a fiery attack on Pope Leo XIV in a recent Truth Social post. He accused the pontiff of being “weak on crime” and criticized his foreign policy views. Trump condemned the Pope’s handling of church arrests during COVID-19 and slammed his stance on Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He also took aim at the pontiff’s criticism of US actions in Venezuela and claimed the Pope was catering to the “radical left.” Defending his own record, Trump praised his crime statistics and stock market performance. He contrasted Pope Leo with his brother Louis, calling Louis “all MAGA.” He urged the Pope to “focus on being a great Pope, not a politician.”
