The Great Shaking: A Vision of Faith, Angels, and the Latter Rain

The Great Shaking: A Vision of Faith, Angels, and the Latter Rain

“Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.” (Ezekiel 38:19) I saw believers with strong faith pleading with God. Darkness pressed in through evil angels, but heavenly messengers scattered the gloom over those who kept their eyes fixed on Jesus. As cries of earnest prayer rose up, rays of light broke through and many were clothed with spiritual armor. An angel revealed this shaking would come through the straight testimony and the refreshing of the latter rain—the loud cry of the third angel. Let us direct our gaze upward in prayer and intercession. Feel free to share your testimonies or prayer requests with our prayer team. (Based on a devotional in Maranatha)

I don't think it sidelines personal effort; it feels more like faith igniting divine support alongside our own responsibility.

I'm not convinced that fear of a heavenly shaking motivates deeper faith—that approach risks distracting from genuine relationship with God.

Focusing daily on scripture and prayer seems the most reliable way to remain steadfast when spiritual challenges arise.
