Mutilated bodies of six young girls were found on a farmland in Akirika Ukwu, Ukwa East Local Government Area, Abia State. The Abia State House of Assembly unanimously condemned the act and urged the state government to direct security agencies to intensify investigations. Lawmakers called for stronger surveillance in rural communities and appealed to residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing any useful information.
