Oba Ewuare II Suspends Palace Queen and Chiefs Over Peller’s Unauthorized Entry

The Benin Traditional Council cited a breach of protocol and desecration of the sacred precincts on March 6, 2026. A palace attendant, Mr. Omuemu, was detained by the Nigeria Police Force and will face charges for breaching the peace and abetting unauthorized entry.
