LASTMA Launches 3367 Toll-Free Traffic Hotline in Lagos

LASTMA Launches 3367 Toll-Free Traffic Hotline in Lagos

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has launched a new toll-free hotline, 3367. This service aims to boost emergency response and streamline traffic management across the state. Subscribers on MTN, Glo, and Etisalat can now report vehicle breakdowns, collisions, obstructions, disabled tankers, and other incidents at no cost. Callers may speak in English, Yoruba, or Pidgin English to ensure clear communication. The platform also allows the public to provide feedback on LASTMA personnel, reinforcing transparency and accountability. All reports will be directed to the relevant operational units for swift action.

Have you tried the new 3367 hotline yet, and did it make reporting traffic issues smoother than the old channels?

It sounds promising, but past hotlines often went unanswered for hours. I wonder if Lagos motorists will really see quicker responses this time.

I'm skeptical that a simple toll-free number can handle the volume during rush hour. Isn't infrastructure and staffing the bigger problem?

Perhaps authorities could pair the hotline launch with GPS tracking on tow trucks and patrols. That way operators can dispatch help faster to stranded vehicles.
