I believe Sheikh Daood Molasan, the self-styled Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, should be investigated for bringing Ahmad Gumi to Ibadan. Since his visit, insecurity in Oyo State has reportedly worsened. Molasan, originally from Kogi State, is accused of training his Arabic students in firearms in Iwo. Those who have raised the alarm say they are being silenced even as violence spreads. There are also claims he declared war on Christians. Everyone involved in inviting Gumi deserves to be arrested and questioned to prevent further escalation.
