ANA Launches Awele Ilusanmi Book Promotion Award with ₦300,000 Support for Nigerian Authors

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has introduced the ANA/Awele Ilusanmi Book Promotion Award. It aims to strengthen the reward system for writers and increase the visibility of their works. Winners in Fiction, Drama and Poetry will each receive ₦100,000. This award is funded by the Awele Ilusanmi Foundation, contributing a total of ₦300,000 for the 2026 edition. Beyond the cash prize, recipients will get structured support in book promotion and distribution to address key challenges in the literary ecosystem. Dr. Awele Ilusanmi is a Fellow of ANA and founder of Book Marketing Class Africa. She has shared her expertise at major literary events and authored guides on marketing strategies. Her ongoing mission is to equip Nigerian writers with practical tools for publishing success.
