Nollywood Veteran Laments Forcing Staff to Choose Between Church and Job

Veteran actor Ladi Folarin says he now regrets the day he told a devoted churchgoer on his payroll to quit services or lose his job. He recalls that the employee left work at 6 pm daily to attend Deeper Life Church. Frustrated by urgent business needs, Folarin demanded he stop going or face dismissal. The staffer chose faith and resigned. Shortly afterwards, Folarin’s tea business collapsed. He believes his ultimatum was like challenging God, a decision he deeply regrets.
