Kano Chief Judge Swears In 30 New Sharia Court Judges

The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Dije Abdu-Aboki, has sworn in 30 new Sharia Court judges in a ceremony held on Saturday. The event underscored the state’s commitment to strengthening the administration of justice. Justice Abdu-Aboki urged the judges to discharge their duties with integrity, impartiality and accountability. She emphasised adherence to the principles of justice, fairness and the rule of law. The Attorney-General, Abdulkarim Kabiru-Maude, SAN, charged the appointees to uphold ethical standards and ensure courts remain pillars of equity and social harmony. The ceremony was attended by the Grand Khadi, Khadis of the Sharia Court of Appeal, High Court judges and other judicial stakeholders.
