Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut insists his team will keep fighting for a continental spot despite a 3-2 defeat to Shooting Stars. The Solid Miners rallied from two goals down before conceding the winner in a closely contested match. The loss leaves Nasarawa United in sixth place with 53 points and only two games left to achieve a top-three finish. Mangut expressed disappointment over a momentary lapse in concentration but praised his players’ overall performance. “Today was a superb display from my wards and we came determined to win,” Mangut said. “We lost due to a brief loss of focus, but the league is still open to teams in the top six.
