Ezza’s 12 Clans: Reclaiming Our Names from ‘Tribe Unknown’

In 1908 King Oweze’s royal plate was taken to the British Museum and labeled simply as “Ibo artifact. Tribe Unknown.” But the twelve faces carved on that plate represent twelve distinct Ezza clans.
