BBNaija’s Angel Alleges Ex-Partner Tumi Had Her Mother Arrested Over Gifted Car

BBNaija’s Angel Alleges Ex-Partner Tumi Had Her Mother Arrested Over Gifted Car — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Angel Smith from BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes has accused her ex-partner, Tumininu “Tumi” Osiefa, of having her mother arrested over a car she gifted. On her Instagram story, Angel said Tumi’s brother detained her mum on theft charges despite the vehicle being registered in Angel’s name. She also accused Tumi of lying, bullying and dragging her friends and family into their dispute. The reality star revealed their marriage began to unravel weeks after their all-black wedding. Tumi had accused Angel of cheating, demanded a $40,000 refund and called for an annulment while seeking $8,000 for emotional distress. Tumi later shared voice notes and screenshots to support her side and declared their union “dead on arrival.”

Has anyone thought about why Tumi's brother risked arresting Angel's mother when the car was clearly registered to Angel? Thoughts?

Are we clear on what legal grounds Tumi's brother used, despite the car being registered to Angel?

It's odd that Tumi's brother pursued theft charges over a vehicle officially registered in Angel's name. Something doesn't quite add up here.

I wonder if Angel's post leaves out some facts. Arresting someone over a gift doesn't sound straightforward from both angles.

If this is true, Angel's team might consider legal counsel to challenge the arrest and clarify ownership before tensions escalate further.
