Rio Ferdinand Urges Man United to Sign Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly for £70m
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged his former club to move quickly for Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly if he becomes available this summer. He believes Chelsea should also be interested in the 19-year-old England international. Lewis-Skelly became an important player for Arsenal in the latter part of the 2025-26 season, helping Mikel Arteta's side win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final. Ferdinand said a fee of £60 million to £70 million would be worthwhile because of the teenager's quality, mentality and versatility. Lewis-Skelly can operate in midfield or at left-back, a position Ferdinand believes Manchester United need to strengthen beyond Luke Shaw.
