Peter Obi Accuses FG of Blocking His 2027 Presidential Bid

Peter Obi has claimed that the Federal Government is working to bar him from the 2027 presidential election. He called for a transparent and credible voting process while addressing a group of Nigerians in a video. Obi reflected on past hardships, including three years of court battles, two removals from office, and political isolation. “All these things being said about me are not new,” he said, adding that such trials have prepared him for whatever comes next. He accused those in power of having exclusive access to influential networks. “They know the queen and the king, while we do not,” he stated. Obi insisted his only demand is a free and fair election for all candidates.
