Kidnappers Demand ₦100m Ransom For Ondo Businesswoman

Suspected kidnappers abducted Mrs Morenike Falona from her home in Ode-Irele, Ondo State, on Wednesday night. The 35-year-old wife of a local motorcycle dealer was seized in front of her family members. Family sources say the abductors waited about 48 hours before calling around 5:30pm on Thursday to demand ₦100 million for her release. The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the abduction but denied any knowledge of a ransom negotiation. He said intelligence-driven operations are under way with security agencies to ensure her safe rescue without ransom payment.
